I'm an American and have lived in Germany for over 30 years. After receiving a BA in sociology in the United States, I studied elementary school education and English in Germany. I have taught English at private language schools and in public schools in Germany.

I was hired as an editor at Cornelsen in Berlin in 2002, where I worked on products for elementary school English. In 2013, after moving to Bremen, I began working as an editor at the publisher Carl Ed. Schünemann, where I was co-editor of World and Press, a newspaper for learners of English as a foreign language.

Since 2018 I have been self-employed as an editor and author of educational media for both German and American language learners. I have also expanded my services to include proofreading of all types of English texts.
